Long Him Kao is a community of people who love craft, art and the Lanna way of life, set along the Kao river in San Kamphaeng, Chiang Mai. Its heart is Kad Jam Jai, a small weekend market under a great rain tree, full of handmade goods, food, music and plants. Each year during the Yi Peng festival the community holds a special event, Kad Ton Yon (the unhurried market), when homes open their doors to visitors — the very name that inspired this platform.
